A used CAT 307E2 is usually for buyers who feel CAT 306E2 is still a little light for their work. It is not a large excavator, but it gives more digging strength, better lifting feeling and more stable working confidence than smaller mini excavators. This model can fit small construction, utility work, farm jobs, rental fleets, landscaping and resale markets where a 5–6 ton machine may not feel enough. But I still do not judge a CAT 307E2 only by model name, paint or hour meter. CAT 307E can also be worth comparing when the real condition is clean.
