If you are comparing CAT 320GC with CAT 320D2, do not decide only by “newer model,” large rear body or clean paint. A used CAT 320GC is worth checking when your work is mainly soil moving, road work, municipal construction, land leveling, rental use or normal truck loading. Before comparing price, ask for current working video, engine plate, emission label and monitor screen. The real value of CAT 320GC is not heavy six-cylinder digging force. It is a newer economy-position CAT excavator built more for fuel-saving earthmoving, smoother daily operation and lower running cost in normal work. CAT 320D2 is often stronger for rough fuel, heavier-duty feeling and long-time hard work. CAT 320GC makes more sense when fuel cost, comfort and clean earthmoving efficiency matter more than maximum heavy digging power.
